The aim was to present the annual report in a fresh and engaging way—avoiding a typical government-style appearance while still maintaining a formal and corporate tone. The challenge was to incorporate eye-catching graphics that were interesting but not overly artistic, with a strong visual concept carried through the publication.

Solution

The “Threaded by Passion” concept was introduced and integrated throughout the report, with flowing thread visuals guiding readers across the pages to create a sense of movement and cohesion. Each section was represented by a different colour, paired with a cloth tag graphic that appeared sewn onto the page, giving a tactile, 3D effect. Page numbers were styled as clothing labels for a more creative touch. Infographics were thoughtfully designed to be visually compelling yet clear, and Photoshop was used to ensure the imagery and thread elements blended smoothly, bringing consistency and energy to the overall design.
